When Ottawa lawyer and notary public Pacifique booked an in-home family session, this wasn’t about stiff smiles or “stand here and say cheese.” It was about energy, connection, and making portraits feel like an experience — not a chore.


We set up additional studio lighting right in their Orleans, Ottawa, Ontario, home, transforming their dining room into a bright, clean portrait space. Dressed in white and light shirts with classic blue jeans and pants, the family already looked like a magazine spread before the first shutter click.


We worked through poses together — collaborative, natural, and conversational — while my playlist kept the vibe upbeat and moving. For a full hour, the session built up in confidence, laughter, and ease.
