A Warm, Professional Photo Session — Right at Home


I had the honour of photographing Riya’s official agent portraits, and from start to finish, the session was a perfect reflection of what I aim to offer at Paul Green Photography: an experience that’s warm, professional, and a great use of time.


We kept things convenient by shooting in her home. I brought along a minimal, portable studio setup — including a backdrop, wirelessly controlled lighting on stands, a variety of lenses, and a couple of camera bodies — all of which gave us the flexibility to work with ease and capture a range of looks, even in a non-studio environment.


Even though we were in her basement, I approached the session as I would any professional studio shoot: with hospitality, collaboration, and care. We shared a few laughs, got to know each other better, and created a relaxed atmosphere that made for natural, confident portraits. (While music’s always a nice option to set the tone, we didn’t even need it this time — good conversation and attention to detail did the trick.)


Riya was an absolute pro — bringing her best energy and personal style to the session. The final images reflect her approachable personality and the strong impression she’s ready to make in the real estate world.
