Afiya Beauty's Shamsa and Kaltum in collaboration with Abena Beloved Green facilitated a beautiful 3 hour long mini-retreat on the 20th of April, 2022 at These 4 Walls in Trenton, Ontario. The retreat celebrated the arrival of spring and gave participants an opportunity to reconnect with body and spirit after a winter of hibernation. What a gorgeous experience! I had the pleasure of providing photographic coverage of the event. Their guests faces were aglow from the start. The sessions featured Tabono Dance instruction by Abena, Specialty Facials by Afiya Beauty, Relaxing Yoga and Guided Meditation led by Orlena Cain, a Light Lunch provided by Creative Culinary Delights and a journaling session that gave the guests a chance to reflect on their desires for the new season.
